Say what?www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3224251/Burning-Man-attendees-watch-festival-s-60ft-effigy-gets-torched-70-000-prepare-mass-exodus-Nevada-desert-civilization.htmlI had never heard of this before today. And based on the fact that people come here for a week to get away from showers and technology – I do not want to go there. No showers? Who thought of this?Is it religious or satanic in some way?Crazy________________
One of my best friends, and his wife, goes every year. Amazing miracles happen there – life change, coming to know Jesus and long-term friendships have been born here________________Live an epiK life!Discover More…www.refocusing.orgA Mission in Formationwww.bluewaterinthekeys.com
Um, thanks________________
It really is all about a temporary return to hippie-dom, it seems. Freedom to love, do drugs, etc.
You Are Welcome. It’s a ‘gates of hell’ kind of place. I believe Jesus would go there. I, on the other hand, would never fit in to that culture. To call it a hippie-fest would be a gross understatement. It is a gathering around some pretty serious social commentary, communicated in art, music and message. It is a gathering around the soul’s questions of life.________________Live an epiK life!Discover More…www.refocusing.orgA Mission in Formationwww.bluewaterinthekeys.com

So the guy that started it is an atheist – yet it is spiritual.I guess the only thing to gather is that man is God at this festival. And whatever spiritual stuff you get from that is played out during the week. Perhaps Jesus would attend. Sounds like he would have plenty to teach them. Sermon on the burning man would be a great lesson________________
