Good? Bad? Depends?Christ is ____, _____, ______, and our SOON COMING KING!!Does that get them stirred up? Is that in a different category than, say, God made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve!

  1. Imprisoned in one’s own rapidly shrinking brain is how a doctor described it. I wouldn’t wish Dementia/Alzheimers on my worst enemy. As the patient’s brain slowly dies, they change physically and eventually forget who their loved ones are. Patients can eventually become bedridden, unable to move & unable to eat or drink. There will be people who will scroll by this message because Dementia/Alzheimers has not touched them. They may not know what it’s like to have a loved one who has led a battle against Dementia/Alzheimers. For all the people I know, I ask a small favor. If you know someone who has battled with Dementia/Alzheimers or is still struggling, please add this to your status for one hour. Copy & Paste to support victims & families affected by this cruel illness as there is no cure and there are no survivors! Hold your finger on the message to copy it, then paste it on your page. No tagging or sharing. Do this on behalf of all caregivers who love or care for someone with this disease.
Please pray for all those suffering and the families and caregivers who support them……

  2. Greetings from the Church of God Benefits Board. I am Art Rhodes and I have the honor of serving as the President/CEO of the Board.

The board is a separate entity set up to manage the Ministers’ Retirement Plan, a 403(b)(9) Church Retirement Plan that is available to all Church of God ministers and church related employees.

We currently serve over 5400 participants and have over $366 million in AUM.

Since 1994, the pension assets of ministers and employees in the Church of God have been separated from the denominational headquarters for the protection of both the participants and the church.

The Board is affiliated with the Church of God and is a Texas incorporated non-profit entity. The Board is governed by a Board of Director’s composed of the following members currently:
    Dr. Mark Walker
    Dr. Kirk Walters
    Dennis Watkins, Esq.
    Rep Christian Coomer, Esq.
    Dudley Pyeatt
    J. T. Jones
    Dr. John Childers
    Kevin McGlamery

The board has 6 employees including myself, all operating out of our corporate offices located at 4605 North Ocoee Street, Cleveland, TN.

We emphasize our efforts to provide superior returns to our participants in the defined contribution pension plan. Our costs are also low and our “all in” expense ratio is projected to be 60 bases points in 2018.

More information on the board can be found on our website at http://www.benefitsboard.com.

In addition, I would welcome the opportunity to answer any other questions you might have. Just give me a call at (423) 478-7131 or toll free at (877) 478-7190. Blessings, Art Rhodes
