I agree to some extent, but what happens when you are mistaken for someone of the same name and YOU CANNOT GET IT STOPPED!Actually they know this is mostly harassment when they make the calls. It is their way of revenge, which is not the intent. They know it is just going to make a debtor furious.My sons name is the same as mine. There was a time he was very lax about debts, we got the calls and they were not ROBO calls then. No matter how many time you said, This is not me! If the robo thing calls preachers, hey, they gonna do what they do when their members call. They won’t answer.
