Acts20.com NEW Acts-Celerate

They is a reason these here two words is spelled differently, its cause they two different words. No wonder we got folk graduated hi school what can’t even read an all, cause we got fellers/gals with BA degrees, MDiv degrees an some even got docters degrees (although a heap of em is fake) what can’t even differentiate tween words like prophecy an prophesy. Or to, too an two. My gootness an all, we got preachers who wanna tell us they know the middle name a the angel what pours out the 4th bowl durin the tribulation, but cant even git the word prophecy right.

  1. Yes we all have an opinion. But I guess I am of the old school. I believe if you pray. & fast for the genuine move of God y o u will receive the power. I have been in services where the Holy Ghost moves in and the entire sanctuary was filled with genuine smoke of the Holy Ghost. There wasn’t any need to dim the lights, turn on smoke machines or hang spirit catchers flags. Pay the price & see the MIG H TY MOVE OF GOD……….

  2. Charles, I think some things have changed in the CoG (Cleveland, TN). Ministers can now be, or remain, Ordained Bishops even though they have married their 2nd (maybe even a greater number), as long as they are the what I believe is called the “innocent party.” So Paul’s statement, “A bishop should be the man of one wife” is being interpreted as “one wife at a time.” Unsure how this is going to relate to women Bishops because whether anyone likes it or not, women will soon acquire the status of Bishop. The women bishop has been reappearing time after time at the GA, even though it has been voted down. However, at the last GA, it lost only by a close margin. It is being encouraged at Lee University and other educational CoG institutions. This is the way it occurred when Sanctification and Practical Teachings were repealed, that is, it all started at Lee. There will, no doubt, be a few more “older CoG ministers” that will resign from the CoG when Women Bishops are approved; however, the majority will remain and the church will carry on. I predict the sometime in the future, and perhaps in our lifetime, a woman will be General Overseer, and many will serve as “Administrative Bishops” known to us as State Overseers.
