If I ever start a college and start giving out honorary doctorates, I’m gonna dispense with those boring black doctoral mortarboards and get some headgear with a little panache. Ummm, maybe that Jesus is the light a the world what never burns out, but lasts longer than 8 days? Good guess and true but not the answer. First, there is an association between those observing the Feast of Dedication (or Hanukkah, John 10) and their pressing Jesus to reveal if He was indeed the Messiah.Second, both Hanukkah and Jesus’ message regarding The Salt of the Earth address the danger of assimilation________________God-HonoringChrist-CenteredBible-BasedSpirit-Led
