America was having a frank conversation about the administration’s ineffectiveness in combating terrorism in light of his Sunday Night address. The significance of the issue caused it to penetrate the mass media’s biases and even they were having a serious conversation about the president’s failures. It was a sight to behold….for about a day, until Donald Trump drove a flashing Zamboni down Main Street and gave everyone something else to talk about. Now there’s barely a person on earth discussing Sunday Night’s nothingburger. This isn’t the first time Trump has enveloped a news cycle that was focusing, against all odds, on the president’s failures and it won’t be the last.
Amen.
Thank God for using him greatly.
Prayers for the people of South South.. The famine and violence has greatly affected COG. hundreds are refugee’s in neighboring countries. The hundreds left in Juba are suffering from famine. COG headquarters pls respond with prayers. There’s great need to conduct Trauma healing training for pastors/,Evangelists to help their people.
One of the greatest.
My wife and I met through PFC and involvement in this organization was critical to my faith and spiritual growth at Lee.
Souls, winning souls to Christ was the most important factor. Much prayer and preparation went into making our revivals successful. We also impacted many young people in local churches during these wonderful times.
Sad to say, but I saw a picture and an article about the PFC in recent years They were having some type of a banquet where the picture showed them dancing on some dance floor. Such a disgrace to God. I guess dancing (something that no CoG person would ever do) has taken the place of prayer and preparation for active ministry. My heart was broken.
I am sorry this saddened you or others. I don’t think assuming dancing has taken the place of prayer & preparation or the zeal for salvation of the lost is a correct speculation.
Great picture.
Dollas Messer was very active in the work at Fort Williams, Scotland. Grateful for his ministry.
I can remember these days! Took part in housing some of these young people in Memphis! They were a blessing to be around!
Great memories here! Took a trip up to Mishawakee, Indiana. One of the girls on the right looks like Carolyn Duggan? Maybe?
