It occurred to me the other day how I would so love to be able to have the ability to pay off a church’s debt, send ministers on well-deserved vacations, help pay for a new facility for a church, and so forth. It came to me that God must not be able to trust me with that amount of money. Apparently, Bill Gates, Warren Buffett, and Mark Zuckerberg, along with many others, are more trustworthy with money than I am.
Aaron, don’t believe the lie that God gives money only to those He can trust with it! (Jesus let Judas keep the bag even though He knew Judas was a thief.) There are rich people doing good things with their resources and rich people doing bad things with their resources. The same goes for poor people.I have heard many people say they wish they had more so that they could do more. I’ve felt that way myself. The root of that, however, is discontentment. Contentment with godliness is great gain. Don’t be bummed. I think it is better to say, I will use my resources, great or small, to the furtherance of the kingdom.
I hear you, my sis.
Mr GAtes came up with something that had never been heard of. Something so revolutionary it really was NEW, He called it windows.I suggest you come up with Doors!I was familiar with computers at the time and I thought the concept was very crazy. That is why I never accumulated the billions. But he did trust me with thousands and did not take it away and give it to Bill.
