Instantaneous and on going.
I think some left the altar sanctified
and jumped back in the mire feeling that it was instantaneous and one time thus completed and done.
But and yet, we continually have to do our part by staying that way daily.

Can we ever be more Sanctified or Holy than when that first drop of Christ’s blood touches our sinful heart and soul during repentance(?).
