Let’s look at the following verses.
Galatians 2:17-19 King James Version (KJV)
17 But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is therefore Christ the minister of sin? God forbid.
18 For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor.
19 For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.
I try not to take things out of context, though I may and I think everybody has made that error at some time.
Take a look at verse 18.
The Holiness movement preached things, but now they are doing it, what does that make the Holiness movement.
Now everyone who has become a member of a group of worshipers has taken a vow to abide by the teachings of that particular organization.
Now down through the years things have change, bylaws have change and etc.
Now if a group of people who changed the bylaws, and most of them usually has been a member for years, did not they break there vows by changing the bylaws? What did that make them?

As I have said the Bible does not take into fact the cultures. I believe what is in the Bible is how God wants man to live despite the cultures.
Now I realize that the Bible does not say that thou shalt not wear pants, It just says we shall not wear that that pertaineth to the opposite sex, putting it in our vernacular.

You see by the above quotation, that pants was first worn in public by a woman, that I could say was rebellious, probably not in submission to her husband, in 1919.
Another thing was coming on the in 1919 and had been for about 30 years, MOTION PICTURES, MOVIES.
Another invention was coming on the scene at that time the PHONOGRAPH RECORD.
Another invention around this time TELEVISION.
In 1906 We had the Azuza Street Revival which some consider the start of the Holiness movement, but I will admit there was an outpouring of the Holy Ghost taking place in Smoky Mountains at that time.

In the mid 50’s rock ‘n’ roll came on the scene, right out of the Holiness churches.
In the early years, not only did the churches call rock ‘n’ roll the Devil’s but the artist did.

Old time holiness is judgmental, but it is righteous judgmental. I feel the church is not judgmental enough now.

I also lean toward women suppose to have long hair and men short hair.

I like long hair on older men who has made his make in business. My brother has long hair, he puts it a pony tail down his dress shirt when needs be. But, not all men in long hair. It needs to be clean and neat.
What message was Paul sending when he grew his hair long, which he probably did after the vow he took in Cencrea? What about the men who had a vow on them whose expenses he paid in the temple?
