If people mean by ‘progressive sanctification’ that they get 1% sanctified this year, 2% next year, then I disagree with that doctrine. But if they mean they are sanctified now and need to keep it up as a life-long, ongoing thing, then I agree with that.
One of the brothers here who apparently believes in a one-time post-salvation sanctification experience available to all believers posted this verse in support of his view:
I Thessalonians 4
For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye abstain from fornication;
I asked if that interpretation indicated that if a believer, who was already saved, hadn’t experienced this one-time experience of sanctification, was it normative to expect him to engage in fornication.
Jackson Vaughn Plant, how can you be an Ordained Bishop and not even believe in the CoG doctrine on sanctification? You seem to fit more with in the AoG.

Would you say he lost his sanctification, or that he wasn’t really sanctified to begin with? Do you believe in once sanctified, always sanctified (OSAS)?

Back to the OP, isn’t experiencing sanctification out of the meetings in day to day life more of an issue?

When a man gets sanctified, he is sanctified.
