  1. So Eddie, what is your take on the article? Here is one comment on the article,Ahasuerus Christian • 5 hours agoThe man spoke the truth, in love, based upon the truth of the gospel, that most people, including Israel of old, are religious but lost, and the Catholic church has taught them a lie – denying justification by faith, election of grace, the supremacy of Scripture, the finished work of Christ in atonement, the denial of another name given among men whereby we must be saved including Mary, promoting celibacy in priests, etc, etc, etc. He’s been more loving and truthful than the author of this article, Mr Corey, nor can you defend your position of scripture against a Calvinist because all he believes is rightly divided truth. Men have errors, but election, predestination, irresistible grace, and perseverance are gospel doctrine. Hatred is telling a man a lie and damning his soul________________Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/

  2. OTCP has been accused by some Acts posters as being a MacArthur-ite, which of course aint true. However, I must admit, when it comes to his critique of the excess of Word of Faith and Prosperity pundits, ole J-Mac is 90% dead on (for Miss Bonnie, that means on fleek).Now:1. If J-Mac said, The People of the Hispanic World Don’t Know Christ.2. And, if the people of the Hispanic world truly don’t know Christ.

  3. I wonder if his ministry will defend his broad-brush, overarching blanket statements like he did with his statements like they did with his statements about charismatics. Maybe they’ll put up some blog posts defending his ‘broad brush’ comments as being legitimate like they did with those comments________________

  4. I guess MacArthurs heaven is pretty small – not many are going to get in.His motto should be: Unlimited grace – for a few like me________________

  5. You beat me to the punch. Ignoring massive Pentecostal growth in Latin America must be John’s way of saying Pentecostals are not saved________________

  6. This is just a subjective remark by me, but I detect a noticeable lack of joy in John M’s preaching and among his followers. Everything is so harsh and serious.

  7. In our home town of Belmont, NC a Hispanic group bought the old East Belmont COG when East Belmont built the new church. It has out paced the E.Belmont church and is a thriving Spanish COG. I have met some of the folk there and they are VERY DEDICATED CHRISTIANS. Occasionally the wife and I make a donation to the church thru one of the members, because we are very impressed at the upkeep and beauty of the building. Where possible I think every COG should have a Hispanic outreach. ________________Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/

  9. Our church was blessed to start out within another COG. We had a great time together! It was a blessing to have access to the facilities and to eventually grow into a new building of our own. I also understand that other churches may have bad experiences on occasion, but I pray that they will not permanently close their doors to other groups.

  10. I think this quote sums it up pretty well. It’s Calvinism, not Christianity, that isn’t growing well in the Spanish speaking world.Christian growth has shifted to the global south________________Romanos 8:3737 Sin embargo, en todo esto somos más que vencedores por medio de aquel que nos amó.A Church Without Walls, A Place for All PeopleEl Nuevo Mana

Hey Ed, Love you man! ________________Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/
