Why were Jews so over represented early on in the Communist ranks in Russia?I believe the restoration of Israel was God ordained and I support the Jewish STATE. But why should I regard Jews in general as friendly to western interests and ideals? Read the prophets and see what God had to say about his own people and the abominations they were committing. Look at Jewish history since 70A.D.God loves Jew and Gentile alike. So why all the hand wringing and obsession by many Christians over the Jews? And you who are almost picking yourself up off of the floor after having read this…what makes you react that way________________
I must be missing something here. The nation of Israel is an ally of the USA isn’t it? I hear it and see it all the time. Our relationship with Israel the nation has little to do with religion. They are strong allies, I think. I never perceived thme as left-wing. But then as I have been told, I live under a rock. However the Jewish folk are the original nation of God Jehovah, why wouldn’t I respect them? Are they now conspiring to infiltrate the USA with Muslim immigrants? I am confused… ________________Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/
Do you practice knee jerk assumptions when someone asks a politically incorrect question? Obviously you do. I will not be put on the defensive. Why not read the article, consider my questions (and that’s what they were, questions) and put some real thought into this instead of doing what liberals do, play the race card.Mark Levin is a Jew and bashes leftist Jews all the time on his show. Is he an anti-Semite?I find your knee jerk reaction most intriguing and I’m sure most would react the same way with a reflex reaction of accusing the questioner of racism. Why? How did we all get programmed to react that way? I bet you did not even think about it. An accusation of anti-Semitism was the first thing that came to your mind. Interesting________________
I am not referring to the Jewish

I can understand why a Jew would feel that way. It may be that most Muslims have better family and sexual morals than Europeans who are not born again. in the west, people are shown stories of women being stoned to death, ISIS selling little girls as sex slaves or second wives, and things like that. But I lived in Indonesia for many years. At least there, polygamy is kind of rare. It does happen, but it’s a weird thing. Divorce is legal (it is a secular state not an Islamic government, btw), but not incentivized by the courts like it is in the US. It happens, but the divorce rates are much lower. They really value family. Muslims there push to keep porn, prostitution, and things like that illegal. They edit sexual scenes out of movies________________

If you would reread my post you would discover that I simply asked the question Do you practice anti-Semitism? This question does not imply that you are a racist. Sorry but I see through your lame excuse. Examine yourself. What invoked that response from you in the form of a have you stopped beating your wife type question________________
Paranoid … another trait of trump..
I simply want you to explain why you asked me a did you stop beating your wife question and have a discussion without insinuating I’m a racist like a Democrat would do. What is so hard about that?Let’s move on and get back to the thread topic. What do you think about the opinion of the Rabbi in the article? Are Jews anti-European________________

I doubt the women who in Cologne, Germany this past New Year’s Eve would agree. And what about the carnage of the Rotherham child sex abuse scandal? You know, Bill Cosby wrote an op ed about virtuous Muslim families. Just call me unimpressed.
It appears, RS, you are using
an old piece published by a leftist publication by an author who is less than what he is presented to be to be the spear point to vent you apparent pent up, let us write irritation (rather than anger) towards Jews because they do not fit your political agenda. It is true Jews generally take a left-leaning position but this stems from a position of good works – and therefore endorse democratic platforms designed to address poverty and what seems oppressive issues in society. As for why does the author hate Europeans? The article is self-evident: He seeks revenge for the atrocities perpetrated against Jews through the centuries in Europe – Europe has a long history of anti-Semitic activities and historically, if not experientially, claimed to be Christian. As for Israel’s policies at home – they are trying to survive, especially in a growing anti-Israel climate brewing in Europe and making its way across the U.S., especially at liberal universities.Be assured, I’m not picking myself up off the floor. I’ve come to expect such provocative, and in this case unresearched, posts by you. Typical________________God-HonoringChrist-CenteredBible-BasedSpirit-Led
I would imagine that certain versions of Islam are much more prone to violence against women, abuse of girls, rape, sexual abuse, etc. than secular western culture or any self-professed Christian culture. ISIS would be a key example. Some of the other very traditional groups seem to be that way. Of course, my impressions are informed by the news. I’ve never been to the Gulf region or the Levant. These sorts of things weren’t culturally acceptable in the predominantly Muslim country I lived in. I’m sure sexual abuse occurs in cultures all around the world. And a Muslim in Indonesia could pull some news story off the Internet about a preacher in the US or some random family in the US or Europe who abused children.Western culture is rather sexually immoral and decadent in a lot of ways compared to Indonesian culture. My knowledge of Indonesia is nearly a decade out of date, but when I was there, virginity was the cultural norm before marriage for men and women. In the US, being a virgin before marriage after a certain age is treated as strange or even shameful. Indonesians read reports of Indonesian maids who go to Saudi Arabia and get abused. I remember I’ve heard Indonesians comment on how the people from Saudi Arabia can be cruel. I don’t remember if I heard any non-Christians say that, though. Muslims in Indonesia are a force that put some limits on pornography, premarital sex, and certain other forms of immorality in the country. They do have some family values that we can agree on________________
Mark, I’ve come to expect snide and arrogant remarks by you. Typical. Let’s ask another question. Why has there been so much anti-Semitism in Europe through the ages? Is it because Europeans are just mean people using the Jews as a scape goat for every ill that befalls them? Or, collectively, do the Jews do things to their host countries that are wrong and incite hostility? Why is it we see what God said about the Jews through the prophets, we see how they were the enemies of Christianity in Acts (actually setting out to destroy it), but now shudder at the thought they might actually harbor those same sentiments now? Why do we view the Jews as such an anti-Christ lot on the Bible, but label as anti-Semetic in modern times those who might raise these sorts of questions?
The Rabbi does recognize one thing (even if he is a loon):
