I know.I feel the same way.But Trump comes off as stupid the way he is sucked into petty stuff.Your average COG preacher knows better than that. He can smell someone just picking an argument from a mile away. Trump can not________________
Re: Pres election sadness
Been duped, again. But if we calm down and realize its not much worse than the duping we get every cycle then maybe with 60% of the electorate not happy with the choices we could just maybe forget the 2-party paradigm we have now that says we have to push all of our beliefs on the other side if we win, and wake up and realize that is NOT what the founders had in mind. More than ever I’m leaning libertarian. In principle I can understand your leaning. But you have to realize that there is absolutely no way a libertarian candidate can win – not ever. In fact – there are so many people voting illegally and so many rigged voting stations (some places last general election had more votes counted than the population of the cities including children). Add to that now about 46% of Americans get their main funds for support from the government (govt. jobs, military, soc. sec., disability, govt. agencies, etc.) and the illegal immigrants voting and all of the special interests vote blocks – gays, minorities, unions, etc., one mathematics professor from Howard U explained that given the current climate and how irreversible it is – we have reached the place where it will be almost impossible for anyone besides a Democrat to win unless they can get over 70% of the independent votes and right now most of the independents go Democrat. It would be easier to get a 2/3rds majority from the CoG Ordained Bishops than 70% of the independents going Republican. So if what he says is right – it’s all just a big distraction anyways because of illegal voting and illegals voting and special interest blocks, there’s no way to win if you are not the Democratic nominee. America is in trouble. To vote Libertarian sounds nice in principle but practically, if even a few who are typically Republican do it then the chances of Hillary winning are even greater.
People who really know me have always said that I am more Libertarian than anything else, but…Honest questions-1) How do you feel about Johnson’s stance on completely pulling all support of Israel?2) How do you feel about Johnson being pro-gay marriage?3) How do you feel about Johnson being pro-choice?4) How do you feel about Johnson being for the legalization of drugs, including pharmaceutical prescription meth and heroine?I am for smaller government. Period. However, I am conflicted on these issues. What do you think________________Proverbs 3:5-6; John 13:34-35; Acts 1:8

Johnson is a politician, even if he is a Libertarian. WE all pick and choose what we like in a candidate (and many times ignore the other) Johnson like any president (If he could get there) is always limited by what congress will agree (or bargain) with.I have never agreed with all someone running stood for, but this time the list is MUCH longer. ________________Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/
Re: Pres election sadness
I understand and think the Libertarian party has drifted a bit too far toward the left socially, but they still have room for Ron Paul types too. You and I might not remember, but until the 60s/70s both major parties still had liberal and conservative elements. It was more recently that they coalesced into what they are now and this was largely money-driven (they need to know how each other is going to vote so they can predict outcomes of legislation and use that to pad their pockets, its why they enter office poor and leave fabulously rich). To understand libertarianism you have to first understand the problems with the 2 authoritarian parties. One of which is they exist to make money, and to broker that power, they promise their voters to force the other side with their views (i.e. dems win we pay their social programs and fund abortion, repubs win, they abide by our moral laws and fund foreign intervention, etc..)…Libertarianism poses a paradigm shift which is back toward the Founding Fathers’ vision of a framework of freedom. You want to preach a certain way, then great, that’s the first amendment, you want to own whatever gun you want? Cool, that’s the 2nd amendment. They are strict interpreters of the Constitution. Even with those that are pro-abortion don’t want to use tax dollars to fund it, and then there’s that power of the states that they also believe in, 2/3rds of the states want to pass a constitutional amendment to define life starting at conception (the real way to end abortion), then great, that’s why we have the amendment process. As for Israel its not Israel they are trying to punish, they want to stop funding ALL foreign governments. I find it dishonest when people think we should end the welfare state at home, but keep funding it overseas.
But if you got Ryan or Bush and beat Clinton – what difference would you get________________
But if you got Ryan or Bush and beat Clinton – what difference would you get? Wow so you would stretch to say that Trump is different than Clinton at least a little bit so its worth voting for him, but not Bush? Are you kidding? Bush may be a big-government Republican (that I don’t care for), but he at least has socially-conservative cred that runs a lot deeper than a couple of news interviews.
I would take Ryan or Bush over Clinton and call it a day________________Proverbs 3:5-6; John 13:34-35; Acts 1:8

What if we didn’t depend on laws to change peoples’ behavior and depended on the Holy Spirit? Besides that there are lots of reasons for legalizing some drugs including; the war on drugs has failed, the drug laws make huge profits for the dealers and create the vast majority of the crimes related to it, laws don’t save people. I think some drugs should be legalized and the punishment for crimes committed while using them should be severe, that would make the user responsible for the behavior. I disagree with anything concerning meth or hard drugs so I’d have to look at what he’s saying. The other good thing is the President doesn’t make laws and a Libertarian President wouldn’t even use executive order. Thanks for your thoughts. I can’t ever remember feeling as pained and conflicted about an election in my life. Of course, my personality tends to compartmentalize pain, so, I’m not actually worried in real life because I do believe that this is ALL going according to God’s plan for humanity. Still, this has been interesting and tragic none-the-less. It’s like a choose your own adventure book where every outcome is terrible! This is the end of the world as we know it… I feel fine. ________________Proverbs 3:5-6; John 13:34-35; Acts 1:8
But we have what we have. It isn’t the fault of most of the people on Acts but some realize the statement ‘It is what it is’ and try to deal with it.Most likely we will be saying or hearing ‘Madam President’ but I will do the only thing I can to try to stop that, therefore I am still a AnyonebutHillary voter.I have to admit I sometimes am carried away with the media’s versions of things. BUT then I have to think, THESE GUYS ARE 90% FOR HILLARY.I do notice that you seldom see a Trump Face smile in Media Pictures, Surely he does every once in while, I hope. ________________Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/
Not going to mummer and complain about election. Wasn’t good for the Israelites.
