We have to bury you now; we might not have the chance to after you’ve made it to the first meeting. There was a first Executive Council meeting at the GA. Unfortunately, I had to miss it because I had an already scheduled lunch for about 100 BUY A TREE. CHANGE A LIFE. pastors and prospective pastors. I was informed that while I was out raising a couple hundred thousand dollars for World Missions alongside some salt-of-the-earth folks, I was unaninimously elected to be Seargent-at-Arms for all Executive Council sessions. I gladly accepted that role. Of course, I asked that had I been there would I have been put up for that role? The answer was a 100% certainty. Apparently, I was a lock no matter what.

I won’t be wasteful with that trust. As far as eligibility is concerned, nothing will change. PCL doesn’t submit a budget to the EC. So, even after I take leadership responsibility for PCL, which I will do while continuing to pastor, I will remain on the C18. And, as long as I’m on the C18, I’ll be a voice to maximize Gospel mission and minimize maintenance. What an awesome opportunity, Travis! I was tickled to hear they had nominated you (I’m forgetting if that is elected or appointed, sorry!) I know you will be a strong voice for reaching the lost and fulfilling the vision, and that is fantastic! Can you tell me what PCL is about?
