  1. Trump kept his head above water, but was placed on the defensive time after time. He rambled about how Hillary’s staff was the source of births risk…and did not make it crystal clear that that was the case.

  2. When she raised the issue of his taxes and what he was hiding, he should have hit with why she set up a private server and deleted so many emails. What was she hiding and why was she taking millions of dollars from the bad actors of the world for access to the govt and for her and bill’s personal gain from the Clinton global initiative aka the Clinton Foundation

  3. He clearly showed he doesn’t have the temperament for the position. Whining about about negative ads, failing to attack her on her weakest points. He said nothing of real change and exactly how he would make it happen. He displayed his trademark narcissistic tendencies.Nobody changed their mind on either side or those undecided based on last nights debate________________

  4. I watched most of the debate, and I thought Trump looked desperate and on the defensive. I noticed one thing he did was identify the issues that people are concerned about, e.g. We’re losing jobs overseas, we need law and order, etc. He never had much in the way of solutions, but he had passion for the things that people feel strongly about. I thought he did not look presidential, but it occurred to me that his supporters probably thought he was doing great.

  5. What he would love to have done is just tried to bully her, and I think he realized that would not get him any political points with the people he needs to persuade at this point. (The ones already in the tank for him would have loved it.)

  6. No, he loves the campaign trail, meeting with all the people who love him, they really love him. Her line that she had been preparing for the debate and was prepared for the presidency was a strong line for her. (Of course it might have come across as scripted.)His line that she had experience but it was bad experience was a good line for him. I think people tend to remember one-liners like that.

  7. I was kidding. Trump is not a politician – and it shows. As for Hillary – I thought her wriggling her shoulders and saying she was preparing for the presidency was her worst part of the evening. To which I would have said – Letting 4 diplomats fend for themselves with no help sent to them in Benghazi is the type of preparation we don’t need.He left way too much on the table.I still can’t see her ever being president.Let me make a public apology to Eddie – I was wrong on Rubio – he would have won easily and been a good president. I let my personal anger for him reversing himself on the border cloud my judgment.I need a do-over________________

  8. Nope. Rubio would have done better against her than any other Republican running this year. It’s hardly relevant now, though.

  9. Not a chance, he would have hit hard (maybe not as hard as Trump, but hard nonetheless) AND known his facts, a nightmare scenario for Hillary. I think the debates with Trump will help Rubio in the future. I believe Hillary will win this time and Rubio will be president in 2021. I’m just praying the GOP holds on to the majority to limit the damage Hillary will attempt.

  10. Well, it’s like this. I’m voting for Mike Pence. What if Trump wins, gets bored or disgusted after about six months and resigns. Mike Pence becomes President.I can live with that. ________________Charles A. HutchinsSenior Pastor SPWCCongregational Church of Godwww.spwc.church
