I came up under the ministry of Sister Mae Terry in the early 70s. When she was not in revival I would go to her house and for hours sit and listen to her expound the word into my spirit. She preached prophesy and the end times with a fervent and passionate spirit. She often told me that America would have to be brought down before the coming of the Lord. She, more or less, said it was for the same reasons as you have stated Mark. Her words are ringing clearer than ever in my ears. Over the last few years my wife and I have reminded each other of her warnings for this nation as we have seen its demise unfold.

The makeup of America does match the description of the toes of the statue in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream:41 And as you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, it shall be a divided kingdom, but some of the firmness of iron shall be in it, just as you saw iron mixed with the soft clay. 42 And as the toes of the feet were partly iron and partly clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly brittle. 43 As you saw the iron mixed with soft clay, so they will mix with one another in marriage, but they will not hold together, just as iron does not mix with clay.The United States of America is not a single nation in the biblical sense of the word nation. It is instead, a nation of nations, since its people come from a variety of ethnicities (the biblical meaning of nation) to form one nation out of many. The United States is not and never has been in a covenant relationship with God like Israel was. The individual members of the Body of Christ, who happen to live in the United States, have been in covenant with God, but not the political state itself.If anything, the stated purpose of the United States, E Pluribus Unum (our of the many, one) speaks more to the establishment of the body of Antichrist than it does to the New Covenant people of God. From an uneducated point of view, The USA may have to be brought down, but I do not think it is any part of my job to assist in doing that. Nor am I a ‘finalist’, As a bench warmer I know of many a few modern prophets and ministers who have been convincing, BUT WRONG!So if the Lord God wants the USA taken down he certainty will do that very thing, and does not need this neophyte to assist.I sat under a minister a few days ago who declared, God cannot do anything with out YOU! Imma thinking, HE created the world without me and trillions of other things. He may can use me, but he certainly does not NEED me.
