Given all the times he posted this on Acts, I can somehow imagine him approaching the proverbial gate of the celestial city, and saying “Truman here.”
Wow.Mr. T.Perhaps this sounds strange: I never met him in person but I loved him.I look forward to meeting him one day________________

I never met him either but had great respect for him, from his post on Act.
Truman Smith was the real deal. When I as a young pastor came to Chattanooga, he was one of the old guard who welcomed me and actually encouraged me in some of the outside the box ideas we were trying in Chattanooga. He never felt threatened by new thinking.He made me laugh. I liked Truman a lot.

Sad to hear of Truman’s passing. He was such a sweet man…real & sincere in his faith. I never met him IRL, just as a friend here. I would have liked to meet him
I never had the opportunity to meet Brother Truman, but I sure would have liked to. Whenever I saw a post by him I always opened it to see his unique perspective. Because of his years in ministry, he always had something wise to say.My apologies to his family, and to his many friends here on Actscelerate, for the delay in placing this at the top of PAGE ONE. I have been away carrying out several Chaplaincy projects and today saw the notice of his Homegoing. It was an honor to be part of a continuing conversation here on Actscelerate where Brother Truman shared his heart and experience. Our prayers are with his precious family.Truman. Save us a seat.
