I have noticed a trend of gay marriage and gay relationships being acceptable among our youth in church. These are not kids who hate God but just the opposite.

What is the going price for grace at your church? The blood of Christ Brad
Remember Lot’s Wife
Is that how Lot felt? Did not work out so well for his family or the others. Live and let live can be an excuse for not sharing the Gospel and blaming people inside the church is much the same.

Why would Jesus say this?
COG Apostle,I find your response to my posting of Luke 17:32a little dismissive, considering the topic of the thread was how more and more younger church goers are accepting of the LBGTQ… lifestyle with a live and let live view. Perhaps you should ask yourself the question, why did Jesus say this? Not only in context of the passage, but what the implications are in regards to the use of the OT reference. Was Lot’s wife homosexual? The Bible does not indicate that. The question is did Lot’s wife love the culture of the cities more than the Word of God? Romans chapter one (verse 32) warns of those who Although they know God’s righteous decree that those who do such things deserve death, they not only continue to do these very things but also approve of those who practice them. Her love for the lifestyle she enjoyed in the city was an approval of the practices that were the fabric of that culture. Did she engage in such a lifestyle? We do not know, but we do know that after she was turned to salt for looking back, her husband got blind drunk (must of had it with him) and her daughters had no problem with engaging in incest. Those three words of Jesus reveal much about being accepting of sexual perversion.

I don’t know that the Bible really speaks much to what was motivating Lot’s wife to look back. We can certainly speculate if it was that she loved her lifestyle there. Of course, we could just as well wonder if she was having to leave behind precious grandchildren since she and Lot were leaving behind married daughters who were being destroyed in the fire and brimstone. But back to the topic of young people’s attitude. I daresay more and more young people do not consider homosexual acts sinful. This is a video that someone posted here before. One person on the video says I’m Christian AND gay, another says I’m Christian AND queer. Another says I’m Christian, but I’m not homophobic (which to me is code for saying if you think homosexual acts are sins you are a homophobe).www.youtube.com/watch?v=5bWHSpmXEJs
You seem to have a low opinion of Christians and those who attend church. The Christians, and church goers, I know are the best people in this world. Yes, sometimes they have problems (and sin) in their lives, but at least they are making an effort to overcome, not justify. As a COG Apostle you sound more like an Episcopal Bishop with the message of inclusion and social justice.
Pull up some sermon videos of Great Sex, God’s Way – that will solve the problem________________
I’m afraid to type that in the search bar. Maybe you could just give us the name of the pastor who did the series.

The blood of Christ BradFree does not equal cheap Using the term cheap implies it should cost more for the hearer.Looks like someone else paid the price. I guess it’s not cheap, it’s free.Do you attend a church where you don’t get grace unless you quit sinning________________I’m not saved because I’m good.
