I have several….1) Find a way so that we can not only report online, but submit the tithe of the tithe online.2) Each state should have an Excel spreadsheet (or an online method that allows the same sorting) of the most recent month’s statistics. Why? Because this allows churches to sort by tithes, SS, Morning Worship, FTH, etc., all of which permits a church to see just where they are in the standings. If a church is, say, 50th in FTH, that can be used to enthuse a congregation to break into the Top 25 or the Top 10, etc. Sometimes, a church can see that they are just an average of a handful of people away from moving up in the rankings, and that can light a fire. No, it’s not about numbers, but excitement in such areas is good for a church. I’ve even known of churches have a contest with other churches to see who could have the most in Sunday School–everyone was a winner!3) Consider NOT averaging SS and FTH together, but listing them separately. This gives a clearer picture of matters.4) Have very clear rules about what can and cannot be counted when it comes to reporting. For instance, can someone who came into the SS class a minute before dismissal be counted? What about those onsite, but standing out in the foyer or parking lot shooting the breeze? What about counting as SS something that everyone else is counting as FTH, etc.?
