What does the NFL have to do with the flag and the national anthem? I am ready for the divorce between the American military and the NFL monopoly. As far as I’m concerned, they don’t need the national anthem and our troops, color guards, parachute teams, and our helicopters and planes to fly over, before the game, or during halftime. I don’t think the military should even advertise during the game and we tax payers should not be subsidizing the NFL with our military (or our tax dollars for new stadiums). The NFL wraps themselves and their monopoly in pseudo patriotism, uses our military to promote their product, while condemning a nation that has made them rich. They are mocking and using the average American’s patriotism to grow rich so they can tell us how wrong we are. The fans should have the right to protest, seeing they are ones paying to be there, and to take their protest to the field. The police should stand-down and let the fans protest as they wish. Write you congressperson and your Senators, tell them to stop spending money on the NFL monopoly. I encourage all police to stop working NFL games, unless the team pays you the base pay of an player. Your job is so much more important and hazardous, so why should you take such abuse without compensation.
True, and I find myself not watching the NFL and the news. However, with the abuse of police, military and taxpayers taking place every week, its time to demand our elected leaders stop subsidizing the NFL millionaire monopoly.
Amen to that!
Amen to that!

I watched two minutes of the Jags – got sickened – and never watched a down of any other game Sunday or Monday. It was tough…as I like pro football better than the View. Man, two minutes of the Jags! I have never heard of such a high level of self flagellation. You must be able to endure great suffering and pain.
Met an old friend today who said he was not watching any games till they got that mess straightened out. I was surprised. For him, it’s probably quite a sacrifice.
Very good point my friend, I did not think of that! ________________Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/
