Many years ago when I became a pastor, I was one of the young Turks, the rebels, doing my best to impact the kingdom of God.Now I have become a gray head…okay bald.I have seen some fine older men in my state, Missouri, retire or pass to glory. What I am seeing is the torch being passed to younger, stronger hands, and they are running the race to the glory of God.I’m very blessed to see the next generation rise up and fulfill their calling________________

Hmmmm maybe a pink shirt….with my shirt tail flapping out Yeah, I know there is an age thing in the middle of all that skinny jeans etc. Pink shirt is a good option.All that aside, I admired my dad as a pastor, he always tried to test the water, he was never left behind. I’ll admit some of these young dudes push the envelope, but most of these guys are real, and do not want to leave our youth behind.Sure some go over board, but usually fall on the right side of the fence. ________________Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/

Someone asked me what the toughest part of retiring from pastoring was. I smiled and told them that the toughest part is looking back through the years and wondering whether or not you made a difference________________
From what I saw and heard from one person there was no doubt of that.
