I’m coming forward! I was abused by the Church of God executive administrators. I suffer from PPTSD. I did not leave my covenanted relationship rather he (they) abandoned me. I (my family) was left alone without support.
There are a lot of us however few speak up about it. It is an embarrassment to the “family” and often it is the cruelty of the “family” that hurts the most. There is not a safe space. We are told we are not exercising faith and not moving on. We are the fault. We ask to be abused!! The more faith we exercised the greater the abuse. It is a fatalistic circle. We suffered in silence pretending that everything was OK.
The abuse was relentless. If you are one of the “#metoo” speak up. Don’t respond to this post because the “family” reads it and it will bring more trouble to yourself. If you are presently pastoring the executive administrators will take names and you will suffer appointments at the next general assembly.
