I sense a concern and desire in the Al. Echoes but there is much to say for those who would to apply the principles of Christ to the community, the nation and to the world. Almost all of the O T prophets were speaking to the national issues of Israel. Surely we should get beyond just the personal for that can be handled by confession and repentance and get on to helping men see that the teachings of our Lord will help all men live better. But just to accept Christ in a personal way leaves us as we are today, without any knowledge of how it all fits together.
