Throughout its history, revival was a vital part of the CoG. Evangelism had tremendous emphasis. Revivals in local churches were held often. Such a difference from today. Many CoGs no longer even have a Sunday evening evangelistic service. So how can they even have a revival today?
We had revival at Purdue in our dorm rooms, cafeterias, and wherever students met. We did not have to go to a church building.
That is wonderful Robert Borders, but let me say there is nothing better than being in a Holy Ghost service with lots of God’s people.
Paul H. Walker took the CoG message to the Dakotas and started the Northwest Bible College for those in that area who God called to preach and needed biblical training.
So sad but true. Someone said almost 1/3 of churches no longer have Sunday evening service. And revival Is now Sunday AM/PM in many churches. We have less church services and more entertainment

Many churches have become social clubs and worldly entertainment . you hear more about ball games sports than you do Gods word.
Commitment is falling out of our churches. It seems the closer we get to the “coming of the Lord” the less people want to work for souls. If there ever was a time that we need to devote more time to serving God its now.
