Like our natural birth our new birth is below the level of human consciousness and according to the will of the Father.
Unlike our new birth the subsequent work of sanctification is an immediate work at the conscious level according to the will of the Father and cooperative will of the regenerate. The means are the faith of the believer in Christ, the word and the Holy Spirit.
