Spurling, Jr. If you are credentialed in the denominations that are in line with the Spurling Church do you believe your licensing papers follow in procession from Spurling?
Not in any meaningful way, when I was ordained I had never heard of Spurling even though I had grown up about 30 miles from where he had lived. In fact I had never heard of Spurling until Charles Conn wrote his book and more recently from Phillips book.In fact I have a hard time thinking of apostalic procession yet I suppose there is some mythical connection.
