I wish they would. We are suppose to separate ourselves from this world, not look like them and act like them. I think the COG women, those who don’t cut their hair, wear make up or jewelry, are the most beautiful women. They glow with the light of Jesus.
There’s a no make up movement? I think what people miss in those scriptures are the clear objective for women to be clothed or adorned in good works rather than just jewelery. If we’d preach good works rather than just no make up we’d probably be a better church
There was this ‘Holiness’ married couple that could never get along because they’d heard so much preaching against ‘make up’ that they wouldn’t make up after after a fight. 🙂
