In Christian circles allot of people make harsh statements about TV preacher’s like Joel Osteen and others like Rick Warren. My question is can people make such statements when we only see these TV preachers for maybe a 30 minute program and people are far removed from their ministry and in reality do not see maybe,
The salvations
The rededication
The poor being feed
The people being helped day in day out
Is is right to judge from a distance ?
Without personal knowledge ?
Just a thought
The reasons we oppose Joel Osteen and Rick Warren is that they are false prophets. Joel Osteen has said there is more than one way to Heaven and that people living a homosexual lifestyle will still enter Heaven without repentance. As for Rick Warren he preaches that “Chrislam” which took Islam and Christianity and tried to make it his own religion. These are dangerous people who are not turning people to God but giving them to hell in rose painted hand baskets.
We will criticize TV preachers and yet not tolerate the criticizing of our own denominational preachers.
Our preachers will call for accountability of these TV preachers and yet call them by name for accountability and you are in trouble in the CoG!

Peter ,,,,,,, Fred Stone Perry’s father was my first COG pastor and he let me preach my first message in the church of God around 25 years ago now. Fred was an old school preacher, great prayer warrior, just a very humble, kind man of God.
Joel & Rick both have preached eroneous messages.
I am amazed at this in fact i am out right appalef
