Yes, I was sanctified to begin with at salvation, and afterwards I have to have that continuing work daily since I live in a sinful world.
Saved people do not go to hell, but genuinely saved people go to heaven. We walk in the light as it shines upon our path. But, let me say that you are incorrect in your statement that you were sanctified at salvation. There is no such thing. Sanctification is a second, definite work of grace. I have some great news for you. You don’t have to live with those sinful struggles that you mentioned. You can be free from all that and live a Christian life as an overcomer. When did our sanctification start?

Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.”.
Our sanctification started the same place, at the same time our salvation did.
David, read Ephesians 4:20 following. Paul, speaking directly to Christians, commands the Christians (saved people) to put off certain things and to put on certain things. He is addressing people who were saved, but not as yet sanctified. So how can you say Christians are sanctified when they get saved?

I have prayed for people that have been saved and almost instantaneous began to speak in Tongues. So when we’re they sanctified?
Three distinct works of grace occurring so quickly they appear to be one.
I still say Christ blood sanctifies us at salvation if we yield to Him the way He intends.
David, I Corinthians 15:31 has no relationship to sanctification. Read the entire chapter. You will find nothing in it that relates to sanctification. It all has to do with Paul’s life being in physical jeopardy. Paul speaks of the hardships that he had to endure to get the gospel out. And he says in verse 31 that every day his life was in jeopardy. I guess I Corinthians is one of the most scriptures that is taken out of context, something that God strongly warns us against. The reason preachers preach it is only because that is what they heard preached. Christians have always heard that “Paul said, ‘I die daily,’ so folks, we too must die out daily to the world.” However, there is nothing more far from the truth than that statement. I think that that false theology was promoted by the Assemblies of God, especially in their early years.
My take, regenerated-born again-ready for Heaven, though the process of sanctification is a natural consequence of our rebirth, it is a process of becoming more sanctified. Complete sanctification when we receive our glorified bodies.

David, we are not sanctified at salvation. See John 17:17. If we were, why would our Lord pray that we, as Christians, should be sanctified?
