I heard an older preacher say in Indianapolis at GA many years ago, “there is a great number more people today who claim the Spirit baptism but just as few as ever that claim holiness.”
I would think that a fruit tree eventually shows what kind of fruit it bears and so at some time it is pretty easy for everyone to see what is produced naturally on that tree.
Far to many people in the CofG have no concept of what sanctification and holiness is, and yet they claim to be Spirit filled. If holiness is an inward thing, how will the world be able to tell?
