  1. Depends on the society. If it makes a person stand out as more important or desiring to special respect than I think it crosses the line. But remember that even Paul made concessions when women demanded equal treatment. I think preachers with 1000 suits are just as guilty

  2. Charles Paige, u sure r hung up on how women dress. Just an observation. Why r u finding pics of women & posting? I find this strange…..why not post some men?

  3. I find it hysterical that one could perceive holiness, or a lack thereof, in an abundance or lack of personal adornment..it says nothing about the condition of the heart..when Paul was musing about a heart that pleases God, he said, almost in an off the cuff way, to let adornment not be in the plaiting of the hair, etc, but of a meek spirit..how folks have conflated that with a prohibition of some kind on certain types of fashion or hairdos is utterly beyond comprehension and, as it often goes with Religion, misses the point entirely…

  4. Pat you are right, it’s always geared to woman in the discussions. My wife would be highly offended since before she meet me she was part of the Pentecostal group that really hammered down on the woman believers. They always sought to illuminate the women’s short comings.

I have helped her immensely with low self esteem issues and showing her the grace of God in the scriptures. After 27 1/2 yrs of marriage and me helping her along with the Holy Spirit teaching her, she has done really well understanding the grace of God.
