One of the downfalls of modern day pentecostal, in my opinion, is that the real move of God has been replaced with emotion. Emotion takes no real effort to recreate. Everyone can rondi shondi who-stole-my-bowtie every Sunday morning and appear to have experienced God in a tremendous way. The problem is that emotion requires no pain, suffering, or trial. True experiences with God often come after great adversity.
Prophesy is no different. The real prophet, who will have spent real time seeking God in prayer, has been replaced by the host of frauds who have learned nothing more than secular parlor tricks that confound the weak minded sheeple who go to church looking for their Sunday morning fix of mystical emotionalism rather than a true connection with God that should have been cultivated LONG before Sunday morning worship service…
