We happened to be in Cleveland avoiding the Atlanta traffic after a funeral in Calhoun and visited a couple widows of missionaries there. They are well and tough ladies. Sister Matthews 90 and Sister Frances Brannen 84. We left Cleveland before church was over and happened drive by a Church of God with the name River Hills on hwy 64, if it is the subject of this post, they looked a live and well with a parking lot over 1/2 full with cars.I assume it is well and alive. ?????Why the post??????? ________________Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/
It is just east of Cleveland, TN, nestled in Ocoee Is that the old Ocoee COG? Why did they close________________———My Facebook http://www.facebook.com/theB3
So, just because the FB acct is active, means it is alive and well? No not necessarily. That was just a judgement call. I assumed if they had left the building some notice would have been given. However I just drove past there yesterday, as I commented and it looked like it was still in operation ans someone was in the building… Just sayin’…. ________________Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/
Sevierville and Ocoee TN are nowhere near each other, and couldn’t have merged. Exactly my point! The original poster never mentioned Ocoee. That was an assumption by Cojak. It is a fact that River of Life in SEVIERVILLE and Purpose Church in PIGEON FORGE have merged. They are using ROL building and keeping the name of Purpose Church. Ahh — I got it now! Thanks________________———My Facebook http://www.facebook.com/theB3
Caveator is completely off base here. Even though I didn’t ORGINALLY post it was in Ocoee, TN doesn’t lend the ability to take this thread to be in reference to another church in Servierville no more than I am speaking of a Church in Memphis. (get my point??? two opposite sides of the state of TN) Now…A quick look at the Church of God website reveals that River of Life and River Hills are two different churches with the same strategy being followed. Can they be doing a favor to a church by allowing it to take over another the new way to boost state numbers? How can such execution be sanctioned by the Minutes________________
Don’t know if this is still of interest, but it could be checked. The information from OP is concurable. The church has left the building________________
This whole thread is confusing. Just say what you want to say and ask what you want to ask. I feel like I have to discover the answer to a riddle in order to even understand this conversation. What church are you inquiring about?
