There you go again, bringing up one of my favorite childhood writers. I am still working on Capt Stormfield’s visit to heaven and now this.Of course that are two sides of every coin, in life we call them winners and losers, but it is always determined by ‘Whose side you are on!’I didn’t stick around in my youth for a lot of education, but I had one teacher who grabbed my attention with The charge of the Light Brigade, in which a writer expresses the life of the soldier:Theirs not to make reply, theirs but to do and die, into the valley of death rode the 600.We have a few men reading Acts who know the reality of that, Following orders. None from WWII, I am sure but maybe Korea. I know Viet Nam gives us a few and probably some from our later forays.Tis a shame that Paul Harvey could not get legs to his idea. He wanted men of his age 50-70, especially politicians to be drafted and leave the young at home.
