He was enormously gracious and humble. Not every pastor can be that way.I remember one pastor (NOT any of my former pastors!) who, YEARS after a certain pastor left, and several pastors inbetween, would not permit a reunion with old members be held. Apparently, he felt that that old pastor, who had been pastoring elsewhere for years, had more allegiance at the church than he did.
