The Celebration of Life service for Doyle Daugherty will be held Sunday, April 3, 2022.The location will be the Chapel at First Baptist Church of Jonesboro142 College Street, Jonesboro, GA 30236Rev. Hinton Harris will be officiating.Visitation will be held at 1:45 p.m. prior to the service. The service will begin at 2:30 p.m. Doyle Wendell Daugherty, 75, of Stockbridge, GA passed away suddenly at Henry Piedmont Medical Center on Sunday, March 20, 2022. He was born August 25, 1946 in Clover, Virginia to the late Reverend Walter Delvin Daugherty and the late Francis Marie Nolen Daugherty. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Linda Sue Daugherty, their three children, David Daugherty, Stockbridge, Ga., Dayron (Kelley) Daugherty, Chattanooga, TN; and Sherdonna (Todd) Denholm, Saint Louis, MO; five grandchildren and one great-grandson. He is also survived by siblings: Carol Wright, Gary Daugherty, Del Daugherty, Delva Chaddock, and John Daugherty. Doyle served as a pastor, evangelist, writer, radio presence and chaplain.

I got a couple of messages from Shaun today re: the funeral.He shared the following from Doyle’s son…My father, Doyle Daugherty, passed away unexpectedly on March 20th. My family is assisting my mother in memorial planning and keeping costs to a minimum as much as possible. Flowers are certainly welcome and will lift my mother’s spirits. She needs that right now. However, If you would like to donate towards the memorial fund that is also welcome and much appreciated.
