Indeed, women DO lead the show. Every married man knows who turns the neck that hold the head.I look back to when we changed the teaching regarding outward adornment. I got to thinking…does anyone think that a man was in an all-fire hurry to make changes? I dare say most men didn’t give a whole lot of thought to it. BUT THE WOMEN DID. And because they did, we eventually made changes.Likewise, I am convinced that within the next 10 years (but probably not by next GA), women will be part of the General Council. And they have a lot of commonsense that they can bring. However, there will likely be some trouble in the flesh as men have to get used to tip-toeing when they are speaking against some lady’s viewpoint. It will take time for our natural courtesy and deference toward women to balance out so that men will speak as straightforwardly as always.
