I saw one on the St. Matthews COG once that I still remember. It was not new to me, but I think of it often when things I plan go awry.:You make God Smile when you tell him YOUR plansIt attributed the quote to ‘Minnie Pearl;.’Note: I was shocked at the price of the signs, but I do like them and agree with someone that said always flash the time and local temps________________Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/
I would imagine that if you have some really good line in a sermon, that is a good thing to put up. If you feel it has a touch on it, or if you believe it can be beneficial to those passing by the church, consider using that line. For that matter, use lines you hear from other preachers. My dad used to brag on the lady who changed the church sign. He said she probably reached more people than the church did. When he’d go get a haircut, the barbers didn’t go to church there, but they would often comment on the sign, etc.
I think we should stay away from speculation about the person of the Almighty.
