I can’t agree with Cheryl Bridges Johns on her views of egalitarianism in the trinity and the marriage relationship. She was a strong supporter of the recent #item8 resolution that failed to pass at the General Assembly. (She is on the staff of the Pentecostal Theological Seminary)
However her views on male domination in the COG may warrant some consideration.
The question I am raising is can a person hold complimentarian, incarnational Sonship and hierarchical views of gender headship in the marriage relationship and still confront the problems of male domination among the clergy?
Is this a problem only the feminist confront?
What are your thoughts?
