We are afraid to call things out because we don't want to touch the Lord's anointed. But Jesus wrote to the church at Thyatira and said, I love your works, your love, and your faith, but I've got this against you: you tolerate that woman Jezebel in your midst. Charismatics love to talk about the spirit of Jezebel as if it is some kind of spirit of rebellion, generally one that affects women, but it is nothing of the sort so far as I can see. Jezebel is representative of false doctrine. Of sin that is wrapped up and justified by a contortion of the word of God. In Hebrew her name means pure, chaste. She is a woman that has the appearance of good but works great wickedness.Jesus said she calls herself a prophetess and seduces My servants and teaches them that it's right. And He told the church at Thyatira, you have tolerated her in your midst. You have let her do what she is doing without trouble.
