The Senate can change the Senate rules if necessary, right? It seems to me that the solution is obvious. Drag out the process until November, see the results of the election. If Hillary wins, they could consider whether to approve. Obama already nominated him. If Trump wins.... I don't know what they should do. Do we know what kind of judges he will appoint?
