This came out quite a while back, but I just got to it today. It is a very good drama. It covers the years from, basically, the 1920s to Obama's election. It shows how it wasn't just activists that made a difference...but those good African Americans that, without necessarily marching or whatever, caused white folks to see their black neighbors in a far more beneficial light.
