George Muller was a man of faith and prayer. He wanted to go to Israel as a missionary, but eventually found his place running an orphanage. He was in what would become known as the 'Plymouth Brethren' movement, and one of the ones, I read, who did not accept all of Darby's eschatology. He is mainly known for his great faith and running orphanages. He made it a policy not to tell of his needs, but to trust God. He would give an accounte very so often, once a year I believe, to the brethren, rather than beg for money when there were needs. There are numerous testimonies about his ministry. The orphanage would run out of food, and he'd pray. Groceries would show up on the doorstep, or a milk truck would break down in front and give away the milk so that it not spoil, or something similar would happen with a bread truck. He once waited till the last minute for a steam boat, waiting for a chair for his wife, confident that it would arrive since he'd prayed and believed for it. It did, just in time. I read that George Muller had a prayer ledger, where he'd track prayers and answers like an accountant. I've got a long list of prayers that I've put in a ledger. It's stuff that concerns me and my wife, not something to publicize like the orphanage. But I plan on showing her the list after the prayers are answered. The Lord answered a long list like that. It's good to have some details written down to ruminate a bit after the prayers are answered, and to have specific details to give thanks for. I've had the specific prayer list answered before. I wish I'd done this then.I'm wondering if this will help me be more detailed and focused in my prayers.Has anyone kept a 'prayer ledger
