This was TOTALLY a prank and the young man is devastated and inconsolable. He is in very deep trouble and, if convicted, could face a minimum of 15 years in prison and never allowed to fly again if he remains 'listed' as a terrorist, which his actions call for.We talked to someone tonight that is as close as you can get to the situation and the administration at LU understand both the gravity of the situation, the no-tolerance policy, etc, but they also have discernment, the Spirit of the Lord and Godly sensibilities and they have deep, deep compassion and the feeling this young man was just acting foolishly and not maliciously.
