I had one of the guys from my church message me wanting to know if since he now has his CCW, would he be able to carry in church. Have any of you dealt with this issue? And if so how did you handle it

If the pastor carries, seems only fair that a member be able to defend himself! However I'd be very careful if the guy didn't vote for you! Just a joke folks! Check local laws. I haven't looked recently in Tennessee. However, it used to be that if the church sanctioned a security team, the church had to get a $100,000.00 bond in case someone mistakenly shot someone. I was told by a lawyer that if a Pastor gave permission for a member to carry, that could be considered sanctioning.
