Then Illinois ruled in his favor just the other day stating correctly that if you don't have to go through some naturalization other than your birth to become a citizen (its an established fact that he is indeed a citizen), then that is the definition of natural born citizen, end of story. I don't think there is ANY precedent to disqualify a candidate that did not have to go through a naturalization process. What if you were outside of the country when your child was born, do you think your child should have to go through any naturalization process outside of its natural birth? Then if not, your child is a natural born citizen (there is the naturalization act of 1789 that puts restrictions that the parent must have lived in the US for so many years out of the last so many years, etc... to make sure its not handed down from generation to generation without living in the US) McCain was born to 2 American citizens on an American military base. Not the same. You are right Eddie! the comparison is definitely not the same. Probably one of 'em apple and oranges things. One family is out of the country on orders. The other out of the country on business and one not a citizen (me thinks).
