Not sure why no one ever asks themselves the electability question about Hillary.Do you really think Hillary is electable?Do you really think Trump is electable? The answer is no to both. Yet one of them will be President in a few months.Hillary was skunked by a 2 yr senator who had been a social worker in Chicago. She is having trouble with a 80 yr old socialist this time.Trump is, well, Trump.Yet one of them will be President in a few months. The world must think we are lunatics.Jeb Bush, Carson, Huckabee, Jindal - all looked like serious minded candidates that would garner respect. Alas, the U S electorate had other ideas.Clinton / Trump. One of them will be President in a few months

I think Cruz does have a likability problem. But so does Hillary. For me, Hillary has a bigger likability problem. But maybe that's just the feel I get from listening to her, and I don't like her politics or the words that come out of her mouth. It's not just the thrill voice and delivery. It's hard for me to parse out which part I don't like. Maybe Cruz is just as unlikable to those in the middle as Cruz, or he could have a bigger problem. Cruz would be the first Hispanic president if he were elected. Hillary Clinton would be the first woman. There are more women in the electorate than Hispanics in this country. And Cruz is far enough behind Trump that it seems to be a moot point anyway

We'll know for sure tonight. If Cruz doesn't win Indiana, then its over. Trump will have his work cut out for him pulling in the half of the party that he's alienated and somehow convincing the middle-ground voters in this country (who deeply care about the women and minority vote btw). When it comes down to it, he MAY be able to convince me to vote for him, that will be a hard task, and I'm squarely anti-Hillary, but its not guys like me that need the convincing. Wouldn't it be a gas if a libertarian won...
