Greetings!Flooding:I wanted to contact you regarding the devastation that has affected our state due to the recent heavy rain and flooding. It is my understanding that the Charleston, Columbia, Kingstree, Myrtle Beach and Sumter areas were hit very hard with flooding. As of this writing, I am aware of the following churches who have suffered severe water damage:Andrews (Pastor Edward Hardee)Coward (Pastor Kevin Byrd)Lake City (Interim Pastor Russell Miles). These churches have minimal water damage:Charleston, North - New Covenant (Pastor Marc Campbell)Columbia, Elmwood Avenue (Pastor Byron Powers)West Columbia, City of Hope (Pastor Neal Nolan).Our International Offices, through Operation Compassion, is sending eight trucks with water and needed supplies to our state to assist our churches and congregations. We are still in the process of assessing damages and determining the most important items needed by our churches and congregations.
