Trump is in command right now. Some of his strengths are.....1) He will abolish illegal immigration.2) He will defend our sovereignty.3) He will protect us from enemies without and within.4) He will negotiate fair trade deals.5) He will abolish Obamacare.6) He will reform the tax code.7) He is controlling the media. He is not afraid of being politically incorrect.9) He attracts significant amount of normally Democrat voters like blacks and blue collar workers.Trump is not insane. He did not get where he did in the business community by being stupid. So far, the media has not been able to produce any disgruntled former associates or customers of Trump. They certainly would if they could. In spite of his rough demeanor, Trump is obviously a great negotiator and is able to charm people into negotiating on his terms, leaving them dazed, confused, scratching their heads and wondering what just happened. I believe this is what he means when he refers to Cruz as a nasty guy who nobody in the Congress likes. It's not that he is against Cruz fighting the establishment, or that he disagrees with Cruz on substance. He just thinks that Cruz lacks the Trump like ability to trick Pelosi and Schumer into giving in to him. This is all explained in Trump's book, The Art of the Deal. Cruz and Trump are really very similar in their ideology and goals. While Trump seems to have the upper hand over Cruz, there are some very key areas that work to Cruz's advantage that might help him to ultimately prevail.....1) Trump's unfavorable ratings are off the charts (in spite of attracting significant numbers of Democrats). It's hard to imaging anyone with a 67% unfavorable rating getting elected. 2) Trump is |

You really are still missing the point. For instance, the threat of tariffs, deporting millions or building the wall. THE ART OF THE DEAL. He probably won't actually have to follow through completely on any of these things. Sadly, most other candidates are so afraid of being called racist that they won't even try to bluff anyone on these things. But out of all your rebuttals, the one about Trump controlling the press somehow being an assault on the 1st Amendment was really rather silly. It is the |

Press will be enhanced not curbed. FOx and CNN will both start up their own 60 minutes to do exposes on any improprieties - like Benghazi, guns in Mexico, etc... There won't be any free passes for Trump. Megan Kelly will be the new Dan Rather |

Allot of truth there. But they won't get away with false narratives as they have in the past |

Really? The only one he MAY be controlling is FOX which is the ONLY thing close to a conservative media outlet there is. And no, I don't love the media, but I don't think controlling it is a good idea from the left or the right. What planet have you been living on, brother? This man has made a mockery of CNN many times as well |

The one where CNN makes a mockery of Donald Trump on a daily basis(not that they need much help most of the time)Look this wasn't about whether I like CNN (I hate it), I just think the idea of controlling the media is bad on either side. That said I'm not stupid brother, I know its all controlled one way or another. I just don't think its smart for us conservatives to bite the only one out there that leans our way. I simply meant that instead of being pushed around and bullied by the media like most Republicans are, Trump has found away to put THEM on the ropes and weaken their power to create the narrative |
