Post subject:  Cojak: Clinton vs. Bush

In Politics, there is always room for THAT SURPRISE, I have no doubt it will be Hillary unless Biden can somehow get in the race... But on the GOP side not sure it will be Bush, although in the beginning I was for Jeb, until he started running a crazy 'Kill' campaign which is not in his nature. But Clinton/ Bush I am not sure of that... Some facts but mostly just my [email protected]/

It's all just a show - an outward appearance that is maintained to hide the less pleasant reality. Whoever the big money people back gets the nomination. And they back both the Republican they want and the Democrat they want so that no matter who wins the general election - they've got their man (or woman) in place. When I saw Lynn Forester de Rothschild on CNN the other night pushing for Hillary and saying that Hillary was the most honest politician she has known in the last 20 years - I really burst out laughing. So as unpleasant as it is to think about - the money will win in the end and policies that keep us dependent on foreign oil and all the stuff we rally against will remain in place. They always have both the Dem and Rep nominees in their hip pocket so even if some things change - the things they care about remain the same.

Respectfully, I couldn't disagree more. I like Jeb as much as the next millionaire. I voted for his brother and his dad and would happily vote for Jeb too if he makes the cut.But if you COMBINE His latest support percentages (4.9%) WITH Carson (7.8%), Christie (3.1%), Kasich (3.1%) and Florina (2.3%) then at that point Jeb Bush would barely edge out Marco Rubio (at 15.7%)All of that is fine and good until you remember that Rubio is only in THIRD place at 15.7%! To proceed as the Republican candidate, Jeb has to not only beat Rubio who is on the rise, but then also beat Cruz who has been strongly seated in 2nd place for months. If he happens to accomplish those herculean tasks... then there is The Donald who currently has a STRONGER poll percentage than Cruz and Rubio combined!! The math simply does not add up in my mind. If I were a betting man, I would bet the farm that Trump gets the nod from the elephants in the room

That is exactly the right question to ask me. It also reveals why I don't make promises or definitive statements and instead leave just a little wiggle room for change. In my opinion the Clintons got a little too big for their britches as far as the money people were concerned during the campaign of 2008 and to teach them a lesson as to who is really in control, they brought a man they had been grooming since college years into the picture and withdrew their contributions from Hillary and started throwing their money and control of the press and all of their support behind him and taught Bill and Hillary a lesson - that without their backing they are nothing and can be defeated by a nobody. Then after they clipped her wings - they threw Hillary a bone and made her Secretary of State (to restore some reputation) and let her know that if she got back in line - they'd give her another chance.... but this time she is 100% in their pocket on everything. That explains Obama's rocket-fast rise from a nobody to the throne. So, in essence, they had 2 democratic candidates in their pocket and chose to power Obama into leadership of the party to show the Clintons and anyone else thereafter who's really the boss.If this FBI thing on the emails can gain traction like it would if it were anybody except their man (or woman in this case) - then they have someone waiting in the wings to propel like they did Obama. But they have to make sure they have their republican like Bush (or someone who is in their pocket that we aren't aware of - you know, a real good actor or hypocrite)-ready if they need him.
